icebein GmbH is a sports MedTech start-up that focuses on the development and sale of products in the field of cryotherapy.

After almost two years of research and development, the company launched the innovative icebein Recovery System on the market. This consists of a cooling unit, the so-called icebein Chiller, which can cool water from room air temperature to up to five degrees Celsius within 10 minutes.
The special feature: the water is cooled electronically - i.e. WITHOUT ICE. This means that the water temperature can be regulated individually!
Once the desired temperature has been reached, the chiller is connected to a pair of softshell trousers, the icebein legs, through which the cooled water is continuously pumped. This enables constant cooling of the lower extremities and the entire gluteus.

This makes icebein a modern, ecological and hygienic alternative to the "classic" ice bath.

icebein is already used worldwide by numerous amateur and professional athletes from various sports, such as tennis, triathlon, soccer and athletics. In addition, despite the company's short history, icebein has already been used by numerous national federations at events such as the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha, Qatar, or at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Furthermore, icebein is involved in numerous ATP and WTA tennis tournaments as well as the European PGA Tour 2021.
